Cafe Alhambra (Richmond Upon Thames)

• We were the only guests downstairs and had an unforgettable meal spiced with amazing conversations about food
• Seems to do most of the cooking and is really passionate about food and ingredients and how to combine flavours
• Everything we ate was absolutely delicious
• Various tagines with a beautifully light couscous and very tasty roasted home baked bread
• Had lunch here last Sunday with four other adults
• We all started with a light salid that included home made bread and humous
• The portions were filling for a starter and tasted great
• The main course we ordered x4 Lamb tagines served with couscous that had been cooked with a little safron rice and x1 Chicken Tagine with rice
• I found the combination of Lamb and prunes with the couscous very satifying
• Unfortunately there was no room left for desert but Abdul (the owner) presented us with little sweetened Baclaika cakes
• I worked for Abdul and was repeatedly mistreated and yelled at in front of customers for loads of things and I decided to quit and he WONT PAY ME
• Also the cakes etc that Abdul says are fresh are anything but such
