  • Visited on their opening day for lunch but I was little late to claim one of 50 free bowls so had to pay full price for the Venice bowl

  • Our Venice bowl comprised sticky rice (more like sushi rice that's been cooked with extra water)

  • Radish and wakame along with olive oil and lemon drizzle

  • The fish itself was tasteless and the overall poke bowl was little underseasoned that we had to add some soy sauce

  • Their menu board was extremely small that you basically have to rely on the staff to explain on how their poke bowl works that's if they are not busy preparing the poke bowl

  • As poke bowl is still fairly new to Londoners

  • The decor was too chic to reflect what they are selling besides their logo has a fish sign suggesting they are selling fish related food

  • Have to say was a bit disappointed

  • Add ins selection was reasonable

  • Is simply dressed with some scallions

  • Topped with rice and vegetables that developed in the 1920s as an outcome of mass Japanese emigration to Hawaii bringing about a fusion of Japanese gastronomy with South Pacific produce

  • Apparently there is a poké

  • Scene that is all the rage in LA and now it&rsquo

  • The fish and vegetable elements were deliciously fresh and both bowls had plenty of flavour and textural interest with the Oahu being sweeter and the Heat Wave fierier

  • We tried a lovely coconut and raspberry soft serve ice cream for dessert which was possibly healthier than it tasted

  • You have the option of getting a takeaway but if you want to eat in the 25 cover restaurant is a bright and cheerful space that reflects the sustainable ethos of the brand &ndash

  • Offers a good value alternative to the ubiquitous tapas bars and burger joints and is worth a visit

  • One such eatery is Ahi Poke in Fitzrovia

  • Version of poke in a short but tasty menu with an assembly line approach to fresh preparation

  • The dining area is pretty basic but clean

  • Well light and pleasantly decorated with fun and sunny wall paintings

  • As I have not tried Hawaiian food before and I was anxious to know what type of dishes that Ahi poke´

  • I realised that the bowl was actually quite large but jam packed with goodness

  • My choice to go with the brown rice was a great choice

  • As the brown rice sat nicely with the Tuna and Salmon

  • Brown rice aids in cleaning the digestive system and is high in magnesium

  • From diseases and is packed with lutein and zeaxanthin

  • Whilst salmon is known to be rich in Omega 3 and fatty acids

  • It is high in B vitamins and is a great source of protein

  • To cleanse my palette I chose their pineapple chunks in Earl grey sprinkled with coconut shavings

  • The pineapple chunks are both sweet and refreshing

  • Went for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised

  • The only downside is it can only realistically be take away as there is about 3 seats and always taken

  • Had their Heatwave bowl with salmon &

  • Build my own as there are many different toppings
