The Trading House (City Centre)

• Returned few weeks later and drinks at bar were poor and overpriced
• Delicate number with the Pure and Simple Burns like a chilled hot toddy
• The haggis was a little chewy but flavoursome and not fatty
• We were invited back to try out their Hanging Haggis Kebab for Burns Night and with Mr Foodies love of haggis as well as being intrigued by how it would hang
• My duck liver pate starter was cheap tasting and nasty and the bread dry and hard
• My wife's was a fish tea which was very ordinary
• Right in the middle of Glasgow city centre is The Trading House
• We LOVE the bar and were invited along for a blogger Sunday Roast lunch
• This other place (which shall remain nameless as it is technically a competitor) and The Trading House have some similarities in their approach
• My friend and I went for a girlie catch up and the atmosphere is perfect for that kind of relaxed evening with a bit of dinner and some drinks
• The manager was more than capable of supervising the floor and replying to my inane tweets throughout the evening
• I've booked for a relaxed meal in the Trading House after hearing cocktails and atmosphere were great however I found it a bit of a let down
• The food was just passable with very small portions and not a lot of taste
• The service was not on the ball with us having to request for the order to be taken
• We thought about staying for the cocktails but they started playing music and it was so loud (even during dinner) that we needed to leave to get our ears a rest
