• I then tasted the rice it was not in the least fresh
• Some of the rice (around a third ) was actually hard and had dried out
• I had no option but to go back to the shop where i was met with hostility and told that it was me because no one else had complained
• I returned back home only to find the replacement was nt any better
• Again telling me it was my problem
• I suspect that the rice had been left over and reheated it looked that way to me this is disgusting and dangerous
• I am however taking my complaint further with trading standards and environmental health
• The New Anand is a small family run Indian restaurant on the Southside of Glasgow
• The a la carte menu is varied but the birianis are excellent particularly the lamb which melts in your mouth
• The star attraction is the buffet from which you can try a variety of dishes which is great if you are just being introduced to Indian food
