Ichiban (Merchant City)

• Reaching the top you are greeted by friendly faces and excellent sushi/bento boxes and more
• With Japanese beers that is not just Asahi available
• Sushi and Prawn Tempura are simply awesome
• The Japanese cuisine here is just exotic but certainly modified to suit geographically
• I'm a young girl with a small price range for food
• If I had enough money I would definitely eat here more but for now I'll just have to deal with the occasional trip
• I am a big fan of gyudon and i am pretty dissapointed at the gyudon here because they were quite dry and not enough taste in them
• Quite disappointed with Ichiban (Merchant City)
• I know it's a noodle bar but I ordered the Donburi (which is basically a topping with rice at the bottom)
• I also ordered the Agedashi Tofu from the sides (which is basically a lightly fried tofu in a soya sauce light sweet sauce)
• Probably the best ramen place in Glasgow
• Hearty serving of could be hotter broth with proper noodle options
• Ambiance and service are good and maybe leaning towards forgetful
• If this were in a rotting place with rude (they were not at all) service
• This restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the building
• I and my friend had the Katsu curry with extra rice which was delicious
