The Table (New Town)

• This table is bar like which wraps around the kitchen
• So you can watch the two of them at work and chat with them as they go
• The bar stools we were sat on were much more like chairs and surprisingly comfy throughout the meal
• So the decision was helpfully taken out of my hands
• The restaurant is inconspicious
• The space is long and narrow but with the use of some clever interior design ie a wall to ceiling mirror
• Although I was informed on their website that the places seats 10
• At least once a month my partner and I like to head out on our date night to new and good restaurants that are creating a stir in the culinary world
• The food has to be of the best quality and the presentation has to be fresh
• While The Table is perhaps not Edinburgh's greatest secret
• The food had here was something I have never tasted before
• A true experience to understand the science behind cooking with real good meal
• The staff fully engaged with customers and the food and wine was amazing
