Serrano Manchego (Leith)

• This is the best way to spend and afternoon or anytime
• Staff are friendly and great with the children
• Looks impressive from the outside with nice lighting and trendy interior fixtures and fittings
• Chorizo much the same but there was nothing that really made me want to go and shout about Serrano Manchego (Leith)
• Biggest let down were the churros con chocolate
• Great service and the best churros en edimburgo go to tapa on the shore
• Slight delay in the tapas coming out there was long waits in between small dishes however was good as I was with 2 other people
• Would go back if I was in the area
• It's a great atmosphere and the staff are great and welcoming
• The place inside is lovely and it wasn't too busy
• I didn't know what the traditional tortilla was like and it wasn't what I expected at all
• My fault for not asking what it was but I assumed it would be a wrap
• The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly
• Our dessert (I cannot even remember the name was like a long doughnut that you dipped into a mug of melted chocolate was absolutely divine
• Then Serrano Manchego (Leith) is definitely one of the best in its class
• The prawn and chicken skewers were amazing and the octopus and patatas bravas dishes were delicious too
• Stepping into Serrano Manchego is like being transported to a proper little
• T feel like you are half way down Leith Walk in Edinburgh
• By the time we left the place was rammed with a total mix of people
• The churros at the end were nice but not insanely nice
• Always order the home made tortilla de patatas (omelette made from potatoes and onions) and gambas al ajilo (prawns cooked in olive oil with garlic and chilli) mopping up the sauce with some bread
• One of the dishes was a goats cheese dumpling/parcel and it was amazing we had to order another
• It wasn't the best tapas I've ever had
• Serrano Manchego is the closest thing I have come across in Edinburgh to a real Cerveceria
• The food is excellent with a variety of breakfasts
• We stuck to the tapas which were not only excellent
• The portions were more than adequate
• The serrano ham was delicious and tender
• You may be expected to dine with others not in your party on one of the high tables
• Tables are close together with waiting staff whizzing about continually
• Atmosphere is cosy and relaxing
• Fantastic food but worst experience with a waitress anywhere
• Shame as place is nice and food was great
