The Scottish Cafe and Restaurant (New Town)

• Are just delicious and because of the number of customers they are always fresh
• The coffee is nice and strong as well
• Visited the cafe with my granddaughter and I have to say this was one of the worst cafe experiences I've had
• The tables were filthy and not cleared
• The ambiance was too classy for a breakfast place
• My husband was home and the sun was shining
• Simple and non pretentious is our go to for lunch
• So we opted for something a bit fancier overlooking Princes Street gardens with The Scottish Cafe &
• Princes Street gardens buzzing with locals and tourists alike
• The beef was good as was the puff pastry on which it was served
• Haggis parcels and the chocolate cheesecakes were real highlights
• Really a good start with the smiling waiter we couldn't ask for more
