Hula Juice Bar & Gallery (Old Town)

• Down the best street in Edinburgh (Victoria Street) lies Hula in all its colourful goodness and inside is a fab tasty menu
• Breakfast you can actually get something healthy which is great when you don't just fancy a bacon roll
• The service is great and the art on display is fab showcasing local artists I love Hula and its colourful ways
• My favourite beverage is their fruit smoothies
• Hula Juice Bar was a recommendation from a friend of mines who loves eating out here
• Cute and comfy with really friendly staff
• Nothing better on a cold winter afternoon than a cup of their yummy hot chocolate with honey and cinnamon
• The cakes are delicious too and there is plenty to choose from
• I always recommend Hula to those who are visiting Edinburgh and asked me where to go for a casual chilled out lunch
• 3.45 for something made with ingredients most people have lingering at the bottom of their fridge felt like borderline daylight robbery
• Bagels and cakes and things looked good and service was friendly though
• If a healthy start is what you want for your day this is the place for you

• I ordered myself a Watermelon and Mint juice drinks which was so handy after eating two waffles

• ) I also went for the whirling dervish smoothie which was quite possibly the best smoothie I have had in a long time
• Which my more recent favourite was their vegetarian chilli
• All fresh and the noise the juice pressed makes is evidence to how fresh it is
• All baristas are well trained and you'll get consistently yummy coffee
• Also being in picturesque old town with outdoor seating is a big bonus
• Hula is a great wee cafe that is fantastic for a wholesome pick me up
• So keep an eye out for them when you are out and about

• The only downside is that it's quite pricy but you pay for the freshness and quality
• Leek and potato soup is my absolute favourite and I hate to admit it but theirs was so much better than mine

• It's a little bit expensive for what it is but I don't mind paying a little for extra for food that is fresh and healthy
• Our trip to Hula was unplanned but I had seen some nice photos of their food on social media so was happy to try it
• When we visited it was very busy but it was a Saturday on a bank holiday weekend and Hula is situated just by Grassmarket so this was inevitable
• The food here is just too healthy

• Tables turn quickly and felt it was worth the wait

• My sister and I searched on Yelp for somewhere lovely to get some drinks from and Hula was recommended
• The Whirling Dervish was mine and the blueberry gave it a distinct taste
• My sister had the Sunshine in the Cup which was ok but tasted mostly like orange and only a hint of mango
• The ambience was nice with great staff who are attentive
• Must visit with friends and family
• Am not sure why Hula would be rated highly with its burnt coffee and puke green decor
• Simplistic and seemed thrown together with no thought process
