Greyhound, (Brentwood)

• We visited again in November 15 specifically for the gluten free sausages which are no longer available
• All the food was bland and unappetising including the burger
• It seems they have either changed supplier or are buying in much cheaper
• The greyhound is out of the way in the countryside in a lovely location
• It's a cosy pub with wood chairs and a fireplace
• There's a disabled toilet that unfortunately is frequently occupied by people who can't be bothered to walk up the stairs
• The menu is general is good though
• The sausage and mash is great especially thanks to the gluten free sausages
• The fairly new pork bites as a starter are big bits of crackling which in theory is awesome but in the end I was fed up
• The baked Brie is delicious as are the pies which come out on pie day
• Most days of the week are themed alongside the menu which makes for great choice
