Tapas Revolution (City Centre)

• The set menu was enough for the 2 of us
• The alioli dip with bread was delicious although warm bread would have been better
• The tortilla de patatas was well layered and the egg was well cooked
• They served it with alioli as well
• The chicken paella was flavorful and delicious
• Those familiar with the old New Street Station and Pallasades shopping centre
• The new look station and Grand Central are a breath of fresh air
• What was once a concrete block of misery is now a spacious white dome straight out of a Stanley Kubrick dream
• Its detractors may complain about the lack of independent business within the curved walls and they are right in doing so
• I remember just how shit the shops were in the Pallasades
• Back when Tapas Revolution joined a host of other similar sized businesses in the colossal launch that is Grand Central
• What I can do is tell you that at times it transported me back to Valencia
• Grand Central is slowly becoming my favourite place in the city to have a good meal
• Many of which are new ish to Birmingham (at least the central parts)
• Tapas Revolution was on my radar for a while
• It was packed with the lunch hour crowd
• I waited a good 45 minutes before approaching the place where I was escorted to the &ldquo
• The menu at Tapas Revolution is filled with Spanish classics with quite a few specialities that makes eating here for the experimental foodie a joyful experience
• Flavourful squid inked black rice with prawns and squid
• The classic Spanish omelette with potatoes and onions
• Aceitunas Manzanilla Good old Andalusian green olives that go well with whatever you&rsquo
• I feel Tapas Revolution is definitely a wonderful Spanish culinary experience
