Chaophraya (Bullring)

• S Thai identity is apparent as soon as you walk in
• The play for Oriental glamour is hard to miss
• Potato and deep fried shallots in a Massaman curry sauce served with grilled pumpkin and broccoli
• Tasted as divine as it looked the meat was melt in the mouth sublime
• The clementine and ginger cheesecake was refreshing
• Give the green pandan pancakes with green custard a chance
• Bodegas Artesa went down very nicely with most of the menu
• At the start of the evening I whetted my appetite with the recommended Siam Smile from Chaophraya&rsquo
• The revamped menu and my resulting dining experience was anything but bland and uninspiring
• The atmosphere is great and calm
• The jellyfish tank and the story of the owner in the menu are particular touches I enjoyed
• The food is plated beautifully and my pad thai is probably the best pad thai I've ever had
• The sauce was moreish and the tofu was the best seasoned I've ever had
• As the portions are very generous
• They have more than a few drinks that tie in with the Thai flavours
• The ambiance is something to kill
• The spread is fancy they have tried to put a continental twist to thai cuisine which worked out very well for me
• Been sick for 2 days with food poisoning don't have sea food there terrible experience ruined by boxing day evening
• CHAOPHRAYA is an outlet of Thai restaurant chain located in the heart of Birmingham
• The Thai staff is friendly and helpfull
• Probably one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to recently
• Not only is the food marvellous but the service is impeccable
• The atmosphere is lovely and the dé
• The cocktails are the highlight and should not be missed
• For me it's definitely over hyped unless you are not going there only for food
• Got quite a lot of options to try in the menu and ambience is good for a relaxed meal
• Poorly prepared and aubergine was undercooked
• Given the quantity and quality of the food it's quite overpriced for me which is another letdown
• We went for thai green chicken curry and beef penang with jasmine rice and noodles
• The noodles and penang were the stars of the show
• The only negatives were a tramp trying to come in and member of staff having to address it
• Everything was fresh and the service was great
